    its really the old poll…..
wishing and hoping and etc…besides it lets people from one computer vote over and over again….bogus

  2. Kurt says:

Great Leaders are the ones who listen to the ancestors and work with the present and work extra hard for the future . I hear it in Shawn Atleos voice, the ancestors deep within his heart, when he speaks i hear alot of leadership , and that my people is the way.
Like they say ” Speak with your heart lead with your mind, and say what we want to hear from our ancestors……for we can go along way , when they speak through you.

  3. Shawn says:

    No platforms. No vote.

  4. Andrea says:

^ I really don’t hear that, except from the ladies. Also, i would vote for Joan Jack ‘over and over again’ if the site would let me 😉

  5. EJ says:

I’d like to see Atleo win again, but he actually tries to do a good job and the chiefs don’t like that.

  6. Steven says:

Pam Palmater!!!! The Chief needs to be more confrontational with the federal government. We should not be walking hand in hand with the oppressors. Pam Palmater has a very good head on her shoulders and women tend to have a better voice of sanity and fairness. Maybe she will be able to get through to Stephen Harper, Shawn Atleo hasn’t. The Crown-First Nations summit was the biggest showcase since the Olympics. Actions speak louder than words, and I am not convinced Shawn Atleos actions are bringing us up to par to where we need to be. The education reforms are beginning to look alot like assimilation policies.

  7. Aleta says:

Pam Palmater is not “confrontational” in my opinion, but she is well-equipped to address matters due to her experience and education, but more importantly, her nature.

Atleo may be the incumbent, but he has not impressed the masses.

  8. Billy says:

without an doubt pam would be very good for our nations, shawn is too passive and a few are power hungry, pam i think straight shooter calling a spade a spade and will stand up for grassroots

  11. Joan Jack is a leader who is ready and the time is now. She has vision and is not fooled by material wealth, but Indigenous Holistic Health, pure and simple. You have earned my vote, migwiich.

  12. Dan Wallace says:

I read up on Pam, I like her and she’s what we need. Sadly, politics is politics, the Chiefs are the voters and they like a candidate who speaks their native tongue and is immersed in their traditional way of life, this is Pam’s only weakness regardless of extensive education, knowledge, and leadership approach. I am still rooting for her.
